Our history

Tackwood Services are a family run business that has been operating in St Neots since 1971. We offer a range of services from our purpose built unit, ideally situated close to the A1.

The business was founded by Dave and Ann Woodward as a transport company who built up a solid and trusted reputation for quality of service with a personal approach. Both Sean and Dionne Woodward followed into the family firm starting in 1986 and 1988 respectively where upon they developed another successful partnership and inspired growth and diversity in building up the maintenance aspect of the business.
